One Month In

It's been a busy and fulfilling month going into this venture - and it is my great pleasure to have worked with MM2 Productions to document the BTS (behind-the-scenes) of their latest film projects. Many thanks to Lai Junjie and Lim Jiahe who made this collaboration possible.
The first film (titled - Love Remembered) was the first project I was sent onto. I'll let the images do the talking for a bit here.
As a photographer, I think the medium is often undervalued. To most, it is an additional feature in our smartphones that we use when we see a cat or an accident.
The essence of photography lies in the fact that we freeze minute segments of our passing lives - and these "minute segments" form the cornerstone of our memories. It is a sentiment that I found to resonate in this film with its obsessiveness over cameras, frames and the style of handling critical events through the duration of this shoot.
Traditionally, BTS photography focuses on delivering images that go towards marketing the film, but who knows - maybe a more photojournalistic manner of documentation might help people understand the industry better!
